We've had a pretty good week so far. We went to a puppet show and the science museum. DD fell in love with the whole science museum concept when we visited the Clay Center in Charleston. We became members of our local museum, and each time we've gone, she's been wildly excited. The exhibits change with a fair amount of frequency and they've devoted a lot of space to space, actually. We tried to walk in low gravity; she did alot better than I. Perhaps she'll be an astronaut.
Today we treated ourselves to lunch at ChickFilA and played on the indoor slide for awhile. She had a good time making some new friends. Afterwards, we went to the library, hoping to find some Thanksgiving books, but some enterprising mom cleaned up. All the best books were out until Christmas. I should have reserved some Christmas books, but, as usual, the idea just struck me now.
We're playing lots of Uno and Go Fish; I'm starting to feel a bit concerned that my "easy" goals for this year won't be quite so easy. Oh well, I still have 7 months left...
