I'm tossing my hat into the ring and signing on for the 52 books in 52 weeks challenge. I recently received some book recommendations, so I think I'll start by reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Let's hope it's better than the last two disasters I just finished...

what did you just read that was so awful? i read some lame mom book that i found at the church library recently and for some reason i didn't want to give up on it. about one third of the way through there was a chapter that sounded word for word exact what i used to say about Artsy Mamas. so weird!
I read the Gift by Cecilia Ahern and The Leisure Seeker by Michael Zandoorian. Both were awful for different reasons. Gift: poorly written; Leisure: just plain sad...
