Here she is reading a magazine in her secret place. The feather is actually smoke rising from the chimney, which is the white thing surrounding the feather. There are drawing supplies, food and kleenex as well, for those pesky "just in case" scenarios.
She enjoyed working on some dot-to-dot by 2s worksheets that I printed from this site.

Showed the first pic to G. "What's that?" he asked about the chimney/smoke. I told him and...
"Oh that is SO cool!"
