Merry Eve of Christmas Eve

We've been so busy lately, baking, wrapping, trimming. We did make it through 100 books this month, which was a lot of fun. I love to read Christmas stories, and the library made it so easy by organizing a large selection of holiday books.

Today we made a Buche de Noel, just like Clever Beatrice. It was surprisingly easy; here is the link to the recipe we used:

We're going to decorate it with a sprig of fresh holly. Let's hope none of our relatives think we're trying to poison them (you know who you are).

Tonight we are going to watch The Nutcracker courtesy of FanCast videos. Let's hope our internet connection remains Comcastic.
